The 2025 Region 5 Pre-Elite Testing took place this past weekend at DeVeau’s Gymnastics in Fishers, Indiana, with 50 gymnasts from across the region taking part.
Pre-Elite Testing is an extension of the former Future Stars Program, continuing the tradition of evaluating physical abilities and gymnastics skills that support long-term athlete development. Region 5 recognizes the importance of maintaining this level of testing to strengthen and guide the growth of our Elite Program.
The event provided gymnasts an opportunity to showcase their physical preparation, strength, flexibility, and technical execution in a structured testing environment. Coaches and athletes took on this extra challenge in the middle of their preseason training, demonstrating true dedication to progress and excellence.
Congratulations to all gymnasts and coaches who participated. Preparing for season is already a major commitment, and you accepted the additional challenge of Pre-Elite Testing with focus and pride. Your work reflects the high standards of Region 5 gymnastics.
