These athletes earned their spots through strong performances at the Level 8/9 Elite Team Focus Camp held last weekend at Branch Gymnastics.
Region 5 has sent Level 8/9 teams to competitions over the past few years to help develop gymnasts for future Elite Team Cup opportunities. This program gives younger athletes valuable experience competing on a national stage while building teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
The Azarian Team Cup is one of the premier men’s gymnastics events in the country. Held each February in Southern California, it brings together top athletes from across the nation. The 2026 event will be hosted in San Diego, providing gymnasts a chance to experience team travel, structured warm-ups, and competition pressure—key steps in preparing for elite-level performance.
Under the leadership of Hamm and Halliday, these eight gymnasts will bring focus, determination, and pride to the Region 5 program. Their selection represents the continued growth and strength of men’s gymnastics in the region and the commitment to developing the next generation of elite athletes.
